Climate change impacts on cultural heritage: Facing the challenge

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION

Due to the unprecedented global challenge that all countries are currently facing because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Meeting at the level of Heads of State/Government, aiming at raising awareness and encouraging global action on the issue, that the Greek Government was planning to hold in Athens, has been rescheduled.

The dates will be conveyed once the international conditions will permit.

Greece, aware that cultural and natural heritage is increasingly vulnerable to the effects of climate change and considering the support of the majority of UN member-states, as well as the UN Secretary-General, UNESCO, WMO and the Council of Europe to the above-mentioned initiative, will spare no effort for the success of this initiative, in the framework of the global fight against climate change.
