  1. Research and teaching

1984   Junior researcher of  Yerevan State Matenadaran, project performed:

Documentation of  Armenian Historical Monuments.

1985-87 senior researcher of Kuwait Institute for Scientific research, project

Performed Modern Housing and Kuwaiti urbanization, Low rise and

high density development.

1987-1991- 2003. Senior lecturer, docent, then  professor of Yerevan State University of  Architecture and Construction and other.

1998-, RA State License in planning, design and restoration.

2003-,  Correspondent member of Engineering Academy of Armenia.

2004-,   Member of Board of the State Councils 029, 016 for conferring

Scientific degrees of Ph.D. and D.Sc. in Architecture.

2009-, Research leader at  National Academy of Sc. , Institute of Art.

  • Publications: 6 monographs and 250 articles and communications.
  • 6 state research programs performed , supervised 25 Ph.D. papers confirmed.

B-Design and workshops

1996-99 Architect in charge and supervision of American University of  Armenia  center in Yerevan.

1997, 2010  Design and  reconstruction of  Religious school Nearby Jrvegh Cathedral, addition of  belfry and  dome.

1999 Reconstruction of  Secondary school (for 750 students) renovation in Ayntab village RA

2000  Modernization of The Main Hall at Agriculture Academy of Yerevan.

  • Environment design, design  and supervision of  1915 Memorial monument at Ayntab village.

2002-03 Architect in charge and supervision of Virage Logic branch building  in

Armenia.

2006 Community church at Arevshat village.

Workshops: Measurements of Byzantine monuments in Syria (1983-1984), restoration Congress: Tehran, Shiraz (1995, 2004), Armenian- Byzantine relations (1998, 1999)  at Salonika, Assessments of monuments (2005-2010) at Yerevan, Kars, Mush, Adana. Pedagogy ( 2010-2015)  at  Budapest, Istanbul, Tbilisi, Yerevan, LA, Conservation of monuments (2019) Yerevan etc.
